In 1951, Ohio disc jockey Alan Freed first coined the phrase ‘rock & roll’ to describe an emerging style of music which mixed gospel, rhythm and blues and country music in a hard driving, dynamic blend. Our Rocket jukebox transports you back in time to the frenzied mid 50s and the sound that transformed everything.
